After my last post, I have had a few requests for more information on colour and its meaning.
Now I’m no colour expert, and I did have a few links assembled to share with you, but with thanks to @Lyceum (aka Martin Lindeskog) I now have even better resources to share with you.
He kindly referred me to an interview on John Jantsch’s Duct Tape Marketing with Katie Smith which had some great information about colour as an element of your brand. You can listen to it here.
This prompted me to go and check out Katie Smiths Sensational Colour Website, all I can say is WOW!….there is such a wealth of information on colour meaning and psychology that to be honest, my meagre attempt to cover the topic would pale into comparison. So rather than try to paraphrase and condense, here is a direct link to the Colour Meaning page, where you can explore to your hearts desire.
Have fun researching your colour scheme, and let me know in the comments below if learning more about colour, has caused you to re-think your brand design, I would be curious.
