Getting people to buy your stuff is a mix of art and science.
Art by way of creativity and innovation.
Science by way of psychology and research.
You can ask them to buy of course, but you can’t sell ice to Eskimos..no need..no desire. No sale.
You can listen intently for the right signals and somehow manage to insert yourself into their equation.
But ultimately it comes down to trust and generosity…you have to understand people to understand business.
