Not getting the results you would like out of your day, week…dare I say life?
Here are 10 quickies that may inspire you to take some further action.
What floats your boat for you?
Are you working from inspiration or desperation….mmm makes you think eh? When you feel inspired you want to get things done, it drives you toward your goal. Desperation on the other hand can cause you to drag out every avoidance technique in your arsenal, and wont produce the greatest results.
Okay..wheres your focus.
We’ve all heard the saying energy flows where attention goes…so what are you focusing on, the opportunity or the lack of it?
Brain Food = Premium Output.
What are you feeding your mind, mindless reality tv or watching inspiring documentaries, reading a good book or flicking through trash magazines. Always remember there’s a direct correlation between what goes in and what comes out.
Get Your Arnie On (Schwarzenegger that is)
Mind body connection, you read about it every day…just like your mental diet, ya gotta watch out for the body too. Exercise, love it or hate it, there’s no doubt is has a huge impact on your overall performance and productivity.
Cut the dead wood
Okay…who are you hanging around with…supportive, uplifting, inspiring, people or energy vampires that suck the lifeforce right out of you. Take stock regularly of the company you keep, and remove the dead limbs from your friendship tree.
Be Still Goddammit!
I cant overstate the importance of a still mind. 30 minutes a day is great but if you can only manage 10 or 15 minutes a day to sit within yourself, its better than nothing. The clarity and creativity that will come from making this a ritual in your life will really astound you…really…trust me I’m a Doctor (not really) but hey gotta make an impact here.
Don’t Run Away
We all have things that we indulge in when we want to escape, you just have to work out what your particular poison is…TV, sleep, alcohol, once you can recognise the patten, then work to deconstruct the habit, as they really only accentuate the problem that you are trying to avoid in the first place.
Say Thanks….Often
Going back to focus once again…if you focus on the bad stuff you’ll get more of it…if you focus on the good stuff you’ll get more of it. So why not make a point of seeing the good stuff in your life and being thankful for it. It will bring you many rewards.
You Suck! (Sometimes)
From time to time we all need a good kick in the pants to get us to change our perspective. You know everything that’s happened to you has taught you something. It has helped to make you the person you are today, why not celebrate that instead of bemoaning all the bad shit that goes on in your life. Learn from things, make changes, and get over it…move on.
Be Inventive
Use what you’ve been given and go out and make things happen, find the resources that you need, get creative. You have the ability to change and create new results…if you don’t like the ones you’re getting, that is?
Sit down and come up with 5 ideas to increase your income or build your business, what about 5 people that could help you to achieve these goals, and take action on those things.
If you just did this once every five days, you would begin to have a different experience, changes would be evident and old boundaries would be demolished.
So stretch yourself everyday, because life is short and there is much to cram into the experience. So what are you waiting for…get out there and hold on, it can be a hell of an experience….only if you choose it though!

Jackie, this advice is so spot on! All of your points are important, but the advice about being “still” is crucial. If you don’t stop and concentrate and reflect, you end up just being reactive and scattered, not focused and deliberate.
